This website provides information about a class action lawsuit pending against UTS of Mass., Inc. (UTS). The case recently was given “class action” status by a Massachusetts Superior Court. The class includes all individuals who worked for UTS during the period December 10, 2017 and March 21, 2022, and who used their personal cars to perform work duties. The case was brought in 2021 by a former UTS employee, and claims that UTS’s mileage longstanding reimbursement rate of $0.35 per mile (which was finally increased after the lawsuit was filed) was too low to cover all of the true costs of using a car.
This website provides copies of key documents from the case, a case timeline, and contact information for the attorneys representing the class of employees.
